Payment and Refund Policy
Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital courses and related media training materials offered by infosparknu. The courses focus on clear content delivery, including editorial planning, studio setup, camera framing, and professional workflows. It covers one-time course purchases, bundled media guides, and any associated digital downloads or access licences. The policy does not extend to physical goods or in-person training sessions unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Additional charges such as currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider or bank may apply and are your responsibility. infosparknu reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed. Promotional discounts are applied at checkout and are subject to the terms displayed at the time of purchase.
Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment gateways commonly used in the United Kingdom. Payments are authorised in real time and your order will only be processed once funds have cleared. All transactions are protected by industry-standard encryption and comply with UK data protection requirements under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. infosparknu does not store full card details.
Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed
A contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email following successful payment. This confirmation summarises the course access details, price paid, and your consumer rights. Access to digital content is granted immediately upon confirmation unless a cooling-off period applies as outlined below.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase to cancel for any reason. For digital content, this right is lost once you begin downloading or streaming the material, unless you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that your cancellation right will be lost. Subscriptions, if offered, may be cancelled at any time with pro-rata refunds for unused periods where permitted by law.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services
Refunds are available for cancellations within the 14-day period provided no substantial use of the digital content has occurred. Non-refundable items include courses where you have already downloaded or accessed more than 20 percent of the material, promotional bundles, and any personalised or customised content. Refunds will not be issued for change of mind after the cooling-off period or for failure to meet technical requirements on your device.
The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number, full name, and a clear statement of your reason for cancellation. Include the date of purchase and any relevant transaction reference. Requests must be submitted within the applicable time limits. You will receive an acknowledgement within two working days.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision
infosparknu will review each request within five working days. You will be notified by email whether the refund is approved or rejected, together with the reasons for any rejection. If approved, processing begins immediately. You may appeal a rejection by providing additional supporting information within seven days of notification.
Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer
Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method. Credit and debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days, while PayPal refunds are usually processed within three working days. In all cases, funds should reach you no later than 14 days after approval. infosparknu is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant
Digital courses are subject to immediate access rules. Once you start streaming or downloading, your cancellation rights are limited as described above. Subscription renewals will be charged automatically unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Promotional offers carry the same refund rules unless stated otherwise at purchase.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud
If a payment fails, you will be notified and given the opportunity to retry with another method. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded automatically where confirmed. Chargebacks or suspected fraudulent activity may result in immediate account suspension pending investigation. infosparknu cooperates with law enforcement and payment providers in cases of fraud.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other UK legislation. You retain the right to a refund, repair, or replacement if digital content is not of satisfactory quality, as described, or fit for purpose. Nothing in this policy excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
